Rules & Information

S.T.A.R. Labs! Don't know of which Earth, or perhaps Earth unmarked and undiscovered! It sits in a Central City outside of Time and Space and is its own living entity, drawing people in and letting them leave whenever they wish.

Funny thing is that there's no ah...communications, exactly. You can holler out names but others might respond back to your call. There's rooms! For more private discussions! But the locks might not work on all of them. I think.

Coffee? I'm gonna make some coffee. You. Mingle. Go forth and...touch sharp objects or something! Oh and if you ask S.T.A.R. Labs, it will provide you with anything!

Interaction
Try to avoid wank if at all possible. Characters are going to clash, but don't let it get personal. If things get too heated, one of the mods will step in and do their best to break things up.

More than one character is, of course, allowed. We are not going to regulate the number of Olivers in the community, or anything like that. Characters encountering each other, and flipping out over all the differences between them is half the fun. But again, no personal attacks on characterization.

OCs of any sort are allowed. Please introduce and elaborate on the origin of your character a bit, because of course we won't automatically recognize them like fandom characters, but that is up to you.

Do not be an asshole to the OCs. If you don't like them, then don't interact with them. Vice Versa.

Please don't 4th wall.

On Trauma Triggers
Okay - triggers are personal and can be highly varied. There is simply no way, in a community so large and fast-paced, dealing with such a wide range of characters and situations, to completely avoid the possibility of inadvertently triggering someone. However, overtly traumatic material (i.e. depictions or mentions of excessive, graphic violence or injury, sexual or otherwise, self injury, and eating disorders) will not be tolerated. Please mindful.

A good rule of thumb is that if you're making a post that you can be reasonably certain contains triggering material (or, hell, even if you're just worried it might), put it under a cut.

Remember, if there is something that you have a problem with, bring it to mod's attention.

Posting
Action spam and prose are welcomed!

Your character does not have to be a member of an rpg to join. If you have random, unattached character journals lying around, they are totally welcome.

If your character was part of a game that has ended, died out, exploded, whatever, you may still join and post.

This community is not to be used as a message board.

This community is also not a place to whine about your rpg, fellow characters, or anyone for that matter.

Keep It Work-Safe
Yup. That. Put it under a cut if you get too frisky in those office spaces.

Any questions, please direct it to the mod at this post here.
