A wild Bart Allen appears!

"Run, Flash, RUN!"

Those were his last conscious words, his whole being as the Speed Force poured from him into his grandfather, giving him everything he had, everything he'd taken from every other speedster, that last push he needed to finish things. Bart knew he was lost, but this would let the world, everything he fought for, his grandfather, win. That was the important thing.

He'd never expected to feel anything. To live. Except...something had happened, and the Speed Force spat him out, all the worse for wear. That was the only thing he could guess. No, wait, this place...he’s never been here. Bart knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he would remember every place he’s been. This place is new, different. It feels subtly off, or is that just the way he feels his connection to the Speed Force?

There really is only one thing to do, and that’s gather information, learn, find out if he’s alone or if there’s anyone else he knows here. Making certain his cowl is firmly in place, Bart Allen, better known as Kid Flash steps out to see what he can see.

"Star Labs, huh? I wonder if Val is here..." he muses aloud.

"Everything happens for a reason." He slides the remote into his box of chalk markers.

"But which came first, the lightning or the speedster?"

"Wanda."

[kid_flash_found]

"A Fish named...?"

"You ate my ice cream."

[kid_flash_found]

"Show me where the kitchen is and I'll replace it. Or cook something."

If he was expecting a verbal answer, he doesn't get one. He does, however, get sped all the way to the kitchen.

Bart wasn't, thank god, although he has to catch himself not to vibrate free instinctively from being grabbed like that. Still, he grabs an ice cream bar from the freezer, and then starts scrounging around for what he can throw together in about twenty minutes or so. Nothing too complicated.

"Any preferences, or should I just do something like fried rice or stir fry?"

There's no answer to that either, he simply takes the bar from Bart and speeds back to the TV room. As if he knows that's where he's supposed to stay.

So Bart starts cooking, and dropping off ice cream bars when he has a moment free. Because it seemed fair. Still, a while later, a giant serving of chicken fried rice shows up, a good first serving for a speedster, but not a full meal yet. Then, the kid returns with his own, setting up camp while the food cools enough to be put away or onto more plates.

Does Barry eat it? Of course he eats it. Hes addled, he's not an idiot. Food = good for speedsters. He eats He eats a whole lot.

Does he say anything about it? Sorry, no.

At this point, it's not a surprise. Nor is the need for a refill or three, which appear in blurs of speed.

Of course. Once he's had enough, he returns to his drawing. This time on the side of the coffee table.
