[Guess what nerd is growing more and more impatient in the fact that he can't seem to hack beyond the basic functions of a computer. His hair's a mess from running his hands through it, his bowtie is undone and he's potentially typing a little more furious with each attempt to get into the system.]

[Said nerd might be furiously stabbing at the computers to try and find a way home, but that doesn't mean he's doing it unwatched and unguarded.

The faintest of smiles curls his lips as he steals off to the kitchen, returning to silently slip up beside Barry with a cup of hot chocolate.

[He knows he always has Oliver watching somewhere somehow. That never bothers him. It gives him an extra layer of security. What actually bothers him and causes him to yelp and flail, nearly knocking the drink out of his hand is when Oliver's voice and presence is a lot closer than it had been ten minutes ago.]

[Thankfully his reflexes are good enough to keep the mug from spilling. His expression doesn't even shift when the hot liquid sloshes over his hand.]

You've been at this most of the day. Maybe it's time to take a break.

[Instantly, Barry has a handkerchief out and is dabbing at his hand to clean up the spilled liquid.]

Oliver, what if we're trapped here? And can't get back home? Who's going to look after the cities?

Then the team will look after the cities until we can get home.

You're the smartest man I know. The bravest. If anyone can get us a way home, it's you. But you can't sacrifice things like sleep in the process.

Do you mean like how I should not be sacrificing sleep whenever you drop off the radar on a mission?

[And have a fond one in return as he closes his hands around Barry's and draws him in closer.] Perhaps. But I have a feeling if I lay with you, you'll give in and finally get some rest.

Oliver, just because you're-you're handsome and amazing and I love you doesn't mean that I'll be easily convinced to give this up so that we can find a way home.

The screens are even oriented wrong.

[Time to break out the big guns then.
His hands move up to cup his face and draw him in for a kiss. Because Barry Allen is a force of nature and he loves him with all of his heart.]

I'm not asking you to give it up.
I'm asking you to sleep. Attack again when your mind is fresh. After you've slept, eaten and showered. You'll feel better.

[Damn him and his big guns. Barry always feels his knees turn to jelly with Oliver's kisses.]

[He'd expect no less out of his Barry. His smile turns far more impish.] And if I indicated that our shower would be together?

[He will carry you out of the Cortex, Barry. Just try and stop him.]

There are people walking around this STAR Labs that we have not seen before and I don't think those showers are very private.

I will carry you out of here if I have to. No more work tonight. You need rest and you need food. [A fond smile as he leans in for another kiss.]

[He kisses him back and already trying to squirrel his way around the assassin]

No. [A smooth twist and turn, ducking just enough to set his shoulder into Barry's middle and lift him in a fireman's carry.]

No more work tonight. [His arm is secure around his legs as he carries him out of the Cortex.] If you promise to behave maybe I won't have to tie you to the bed.

Oliver! Put me down right this instant!

[He hopes no one can see how red his face is and there is a stirring when Oliver talks about tying him to the bed. HE IS STILL INDIGNANT! ...even if he's fighting about as hard as a kitten]

If you can break the hold I'll put you down.

[The hand wrapped around his thighs might be cheating and drifting a bit higher.

You're going to get a shower, food and sleep. I don't care what order it's in but you are doing all three before I even think about allowing you near that Cortex again.

[FLAIL]

Oliver! You can't just-just-just manhandle me like this! Put me down!

[He might even be laughing.

We don't have a room here!

We do. You would have known that if you hadn't been so obsessed with the computers. [Oliver pets his thigh] A private room with a door that locks.

[He rubs his hand over his face]

Oliver, we're not staying here. This isn't some hotel for a stakeout.

[He drops Barry onto the bed. It's soft and big enough for two.] it's also a problem we aren't going to solve tonight. I trust Sara Lance. I trust the other.. me. You'll be protected.

That's what matters most.

[He catches his hand before Oliver can go anywhere]

Oliver, I don't need protection. I can take care of myself. Besides no one out there seems to look like they're a threat.

I can't do this without you Barry. Any of it.

We'll find our way home.
