[Guess what nerd is growing more and more impatient in the fact that he can't seem to hack beyond the basic functions of a computer. His hair's a mess from running his hands through it, his bowtie is undone and he's potentially typing a little more furious with each attempt to get into the system.]

[He kisses him back and already trying to squirrel his way around the assassin]

No. [A smooth twist and turn, ducking just enough to set his shoulder into Barry's middle and lift him in a fireman's carry.]

No more work tonight. [His arm is secure around his legs as he carries him out of the Cortex.] If you promise to behave maybe I won't have to tie you to the bed.

Oliver! Put me down right this instant!

[He hopes no one can see how red his face is and there is a stirring when Oliver talks about tying him to the bed. HE IS STILL INDIGNANT! ...even if he's fighting about as hard as a kitten]

If you can break the hold I'll put you down.

[The hand wrapped around his thighs might be cheating and drifting a bit higher.

You're going to get a shower, food and sleep. I don't care what order it's in but you are doing all three before I even think about allowing you near that Cortex again.

[FLAIL]

Oliver! You can't just-just-just manhandle me like this! Put me down!

[He might even be laughing.

Not until we're in our room.

We don't have a room here!

We do. You would have known that if you hadn't been so obsessed with the computers. [Oliver pets his thigh] A private room with a door that locks.

[He rubs his hand over his face]

Oliver, we're not staying here. This isn't some hotel for a stakeout.

[He drops Barry onto the bed. It's soft and big enough for two.] it's also a problem we aren't going to solve tonight. I trust Sara Lance. I trust the other.. me. You'll be protected.

That's what matters most.

[He catches his hand before Oliver can go anywhere]

Oliver, I don't need protection. I can take care of myself. Besides no one out there seems to look like they're a threat.

I can't do this without you Barry. Any of it.

We'll find our way home.

And you won't.

[His grip is firm on his hand and Barry draws himself close]

You won't do anything without me. I'll always be right there with you. But that doesn't mean that you need to put me in a bubble. I've managed to survive all these years before you quite literally crashed into my life.

Fair enough. [He kisses him again, wrapping an arm around his waist.] I'll try and do better. But I'll always worry.

This place seems safe enough.

[He cups Oliver's face in his hands]

I love you and I'm sure I won't be in too much danger. Besides, this is STAR Labs.

It is safe. [And he will make damn sure that it stays that way until Barry finds them a way back to their own Earth.]

I trust you.

I love you. [Words that come a little easier every time he says them.]

[That gets him to melt. Barry kisses him softly again]

Then let me see if I can do something to make a breach appear for us to get home?

[Nice try.]

Not until you've rested.

[Kiss.] No. No more attempts tonight. You're staying in bed if I have to wrap myself around you to keep you here.

[He kisses back]

No. [Murmured against his lips, hands sliding up to undo his tie and work at the buttons on his shirt.]

[he reaches and bats Oliver's hands away, red on his face. The room may be locked but this is certainly not a place to let one's guard down]

Oliver. You're not bargaining correctly. I'm lowering my number, you're ot.

[A smile as he pulls his shirt up and off.] I am not bargaining. I'm simply pressing my advantage.

[He tries to scramble away while the shirt is being taken off, using his own advantage.]
