[ Another day, another breacher. This time, pitching out a battle-worn and torn version of Barry Allen that goes sprawling into the cortex like he's been literally thrown through the breach. And maybe he was. Either way, she scrambles back to feet that are only half supportive, trying to get back to and through the breach before it closes.

He is not even a little successful. ]

Mick has seen enough weird since boarding the Waverider and a hell of a lot more since arriving in this version of STAR labs. Different versions of Flash. Different versions of Robin Hood.

So what's another one?

He picks up his beer. "No clear way back, Red. No sense in looking."

Oh, he doesn't...really like the sound of that. Not when Iris is in danger and every single one of this remnant brothers are being slaughtered for trying to protect her. He hasn't even realized it's Mick he's talking to. One of his ears is ringing like he got clocked with a gong, and it's hardly the only thing going on here.

He shook his head. "No. I...Cisco can open up a breach. Send me back."

"No he can't kid. Got a few other versions of you here too and so far none of them can run anywhere without bouncing right back here."

Mick gets up, reaches out to steady the stricken speedster. "You can't go home Red. Not yet."

He jerks away from Mick, which doesn't really help with that whole 'steady on his feet' situation. In fact, it kind of makes it a lot worse. Not that the battle damage he's clearly suffered, judging by the damage done to his uniform, has helped any. There are entire segments of the suit just torn away, scraped or gouged out. "I can't be here, he'll kill her."

Mick doesn't seem to take offense - most people don't want to be touched by him as a rule.

Head tilt.
Her.
Give him a second, he'll put it together.

"Her? Wait. You mean West?"

He's also in pain, so that doesn't help matters. Not that he really cares, he's sort of focused. "Yes!"

A slow breath and shake of his head. This time he's going to get Red over to medical, even if he has to carry him there.

"Relax kid. The girl is fine. Some screw up wound up with you inviting me to the wedding." Because it had to be a screwup. Mick isn't wedding guest material.

"That's not...what?" A dazed Barry Allen is a dazed Barry Allen, time remnant or no. "That's not what happened. They didn't-we're not married."

"Not yet, kid. Time travel is a bitch," he smirks. "I was there. You, her, big stupid dress."

[Barry peaks in having heard the sounds of someone entering the labs and well, he wishes he could say seeing himself is shocking, but maybe...well this is the first time he's seen himself this freaked out]

Barry? What's wrong? [And 3, 2, 1 cue freakout]

[ At some point this Barry must have gotten away from Mick in search of another way out. That must be it. He certainly hasn't received any medical attention. At the sight of Barry Allen The Original, he doesn't exactly look happy. ]

I need to get back. You need to re-open a breach.

Woah calm down. What's wrong...where are you from? Wait, you're hurt...come on, let's get you cleaned up.

No, don't. Don't touch me, he's going to kill her.

[Barry throws his hands up in surrender, eyes wide and on alert but not afaid]

Okay, okay, not touching. This is me not touching. Who is going to kill who? And I'm sorry you can't leave. None of us can.

Savitar. Iris. How do...how do you not remember this? Where is this place?

In my timeline I've already stopped it. It's okay, I think your timeline stops or something...at least...I really hope so. I've been here a couple months and I have yet to find a way out of here yet sadly...

And when it's become evident that this version of Barry won't listen to Mick and won't calm the fuck down, he goes off in search of someone the kid might listen to.

.. even if he is a cop.

Joe is rushing towards the Cortex, expression one of shock and dismay at the general state of his son. "Barry? Barry what the hell happened?"

By this point, he's at that 'time board', leaning on a chair and trying to stay upright. He is...barely succeeding due to the adrenalin crash and his wounds, but the sound of Joe's voice sparks him back up. "Joe! Please, I need to get back..."

And a frantic and barely upright Barry will not do. Joe moves in to support him and start walking him over to medical. He may not be as good as Caitlin but he can at least patch up his own kid. "Get back? Get back where? Barry what happened to you?"

And unlike with Mick or even his own alternate self, instinct lets him let Joe try to help him. Relaxing might not be happening anytime soon. And hi mind is racing so hard he can't really figure out how to make himself clearer. But he'll try. "Savitar."

"Savitar? He did this to you?" Because that had to have been what happened right? One of the times he'd tangled with the deranged remnant? Joe can get him over to medical, start gently stripping Barry out of his gloves and jacket to get a better look at his injuries.

Well. It's not not correct, even if it's not entirely correct either. "We were protecting Iris. He killed the others, I can't be here, Joe." He couldn't sound more dazed and out of it if he tried, and a closer look will show one of his pupils is completely blown. One of his arms is scraped raw, bruising fast. Cuts on his back, some quickly blackening bruises. He's very obviously been in quite a fight.

It's that blown pupil that has Joe worried and he thumbs the intercom, hollering for any of their current doctors to get their ass to medical. He can handle the basics but these injuries are hell and gone from what he can take care of.

"Barr, stay still all right? We're getting you help. Iris is fine. She's safe, I promise you."

Maybe it's the fact that it's Joe, maybe the adrenaline crash is making things finally sink in, but he hears 'safe' and actually hears it. "If she's okay, it doesn't matter. What happens to me. Does it?"
